The name
ዝርዝር
Zirzir is Amharic for loose change — the small coins a market actually runs on. The stack is named for that, not for a valley.
How we intend to become the default
- Open core, MIT. Fork it, self-host it, sell products on it.
- East Africa first: Ethiopia and Kenya are not an afterthought market.
- Cloud exists to fund the open source, not to retract it.
- The developer surface lives at zirzir.dev.
